These terms apply to the Rusty Jacket website and service. Rusty Jacket is the operating name (doing business as) of 2544363 Ontario Inc., an Ontario corporation ("Rusty Jacket", "we", "us"). By using our website, calling our number or receiving our text messages, you agree to these terms.
The service
Rusty Jacket provides a missed-call text-back service for home service contractors. When a call goes unanswered, we offer to text the caller, collect details about the job, and pass them to the business. Contractor clients also agree to a separate service agreement with us.
SMS Terms
Program: Rusty Jacket missed-call text messages, sent by Rusty Jacket (2544363 Ontario Inc.) from our own number or on behalf of the contractor you called.
How you opt in: when your call is not answered, our automated greeting asks whether you'd like a text. You opt in by pressing 1 or saying yes. We only text the number that called. See the full call greeting transcript.
What we send: replies about your call, such as questions about the job, its urgency, the service address and a good time to visit, and confirmations. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.
Message frequency varies with the conversation. Message and data rates may apply.
To opt out, reply STOP at any time. You'll receive one message confirming you've been unsubscribed, and no further texts will be sent. For help, reply HELP or email hello@rustyjacket.com.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Using our website
Information on this website, including the cost calculator, is provided for general guidance only. Results are estimates, not guarantees.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Rusty Jacket is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the website or text messages, including missed or delayed messages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
